VIBA Aerospace & Defense is a consulting sales organization that offers fit-for-use mounting solutions to production companies throughout Europe. Our clients can count on low installation costs, in part due to our technical expertise and independent advice.
As Key Account Manager, your work revolves around solving our focus clients’ new mounting challenges. By combining your higher-education degree in Aviation Technology or Mechanical Engineering with your inherent analytical skills, you are able to get to the bottom of our client’s challenge and link it to the solutions that the manufacturers of mounting equipment can offer.
Your primary responsibility is to link the challenges of promising clients to the right solutions in order to lower their Cost of Ownership. Together with your supervisor (the Business Unit Manager), you decide what focus clients to work with. You will then draw up and manage key account plans for these clients.
As an active account manager, you make sure to remain visible in the Decision Making Unit (DMU) of focus clients. You carefully prepare your client visits, schedule the visits and maintain active contact with your focus clients’ DMUs.
Your conversational partners at a client's DMU are engineers, purchasers, supply chain managers and/or assembly staff. You can easily change tacks and communicate in the correct manner with representatives from every level of the client organization about both substantive matters and terms and conditions.
Clients can count on your technical expertise and expert advice. You maintain active contact with various manufacturers, who in turn are eager to hear what innovations are possible. Furthermore, you actively maintain close contact with your colleagues and stay on top of the market opportunities you identify and develop. You also provide input for the business unit's strategy.
It goes without saying that we will offer you various internal and external training programs so you can make optimal use of your product knowledge and become your clients’ go-to mounting solutions specialist.
